26th May 2009 -  ASC worked on cleaning up the earthworks on the runway side of the hangar.  Rainwater tank now full.

24th May 2009 -  SB, RT, KV, IC, BT and MBd crewed to fly the Pilatus, and Blanik.  The weather was partially sunny with no wind.  A few very weak thermals were encountered.  Total flight time 2h 9m from 9 flights. Max altitude 3,800 ft.

23rd May 2009 -  BB, SB, RH, MBt, AE, KV, IC, MP and MBd crewed to fly the IS-28, Pilatus, Blanik, and ASK-21mi.  The weather was sunny with no wind.  A few very weak thermals were encountered.  Total flight time 3h 19m from 16 flights.

21st May 2009 -  IC, ID and MBd completed the hangar external rainwater drains and installed a 1000 litre rain water tank.

20th May 2009 -  IC, and MBd completed the hangar internal rainwater drains.

19th May 2009 -  MBt, IC, RH, and MBd worked on the hangar and MBd, DJ and MBt crewed to fly the ASK21mi.  Weather was light and variable winds with some very weak thermals.  Total time around 1h 8m from 3 flights.   

17th May 2009 -  RH, and MBd worked on the hangar and MBt, IC, MP, SB, BB, KV, BT, and RT crewed to fly the Blanik, Pilatus, and ASK21mi.  Weather was light and variable winds with very weak thermals.  There was some extremely weak lift.  Total time around 3h from 14 flights.   

13th May 2009 -  RH, PS, ID, IC and MBd worked on the hangar doors and storm water gutters and weighed VH-GUK.

12th May 2009 -  RH, PS and MBd worked on the hangar doors and crewed to fly the ASK21mi.  Weather was light and variable winds with very weak thermals.  Four octa cumulus provided weak lift up to cloud base at around 6,300 ft.  Total time around 2h 5m from 2 flights.   

10th May 2009 -  SB, MP and MBd crewed to fly the ASK21mi, Pilatus and Blanik.  Weather was light and variable winds tending north westerly with very weak thermals.  Two octa cumulus provided weak lift up to cloud base at around 6,300 ft.  Total time 1h 51m from 5 flights.   

9th May 2009 -  KV, BB, SB, AE, MBt, RH, BT, MP and MBd crewed to fly the IS-28, ASK21mi, Pilatus and Blanik.  Weather was light and variable winds tending north westerly with very weak thermals.  Weak lift up to around 6,500 ft.  Total time 4h 39m from 18 flights.   

5th May 2009 -  RH, and MBt worked on the hangar doors. 

4th May 2009 -   IC, and KV crewed to fly the ASK21mi.  Weather was light and variable winds tending north westerly with very weak thermals .  One half octa cumulus clouds occurred mainly over the higher peaks.  Total time 1h 20m from 2 flights. 

3rd May 2009 -  BH, IC, KV, BT, and SB crewed.  Weather was light and variable winds tending north westerly with very weak thermals down low increasing to 2-3 kt closer to cloud base at around 6,500 ft.  One octa cumulus clouds occurred mainly over the higher peaks.  Total time 2h 05m from 11 flights. 

2nd May 2009 -  BB, MP, RH, MBd, IC, KV, BT, and SB crewed.  Weather was light and variable winds tending north westerly with very weak thermals down low increasing to 2-3 kt closer to cloud base at around 6,000 ft.  One octa cumulus clouds occurred mainly over the higher peaks.  Total time 3h 56m from 13 flights. 

1st May 2009 -  MBd, KV, MBt and RH worked on the Form 2 for GVS. 

29th April 2009 -  MBd,  and RH worked on the Form 2 for GVS. 

28th April 2009 -  MBd, IC, GM, RH, and MBt crewed.  RH, and MBt worked on the hangar and UOW and MBd, GM and IC worked on the Form 2 for GVS.

23rd April 2009 -  MBd, IC, RH, MP, ID, ND, and MBt crewed.  Hangar working bee continued on the floor, and removing scaffolding. 

22nd April 2009 -  ID, and ND crewed.  Hangar working bee continued on the floor, roofing nearly finalised  Visibility down to 1 Km in smoke. 

20th April 2009 -  MBd, NP, RH, OB, and MBt crewed.  Hangar working bee continued on the doors, door track support structure, and end gable cladding. 

19th April 2009 -  MBd, NP, RH, HE, BT, ID, MBn, PS, and MBt crewed.  Hangar working bee continued on the doors, door track support structure, floor consolidation and end gable cladding. Heavy smoke from burning off operations prevented flying.

16th April 2009 -  MBd, NP, RH,  IC, MBt, ID, and BT crewed.  Hangar working bee continued on the door track support structure.  The ASK-21 and Pilatus flew locally. Moderate thermals were available to cloud base at 7,000 ft. Total time 2h 38m from 2 flights.

9th April 2009 -  MBd, RT, HS, MBn, GM, RH, SC, IC, PS, ID, and SB crewed.  Hangar working bee continued on roofing.  The ASK-21 and Blanik flew locally. Moderate thermals were available to cloud base at 7,000 ft. Total time 1h 48m from 6 flights.

8th April 2009 -  MBd, RT, MBn, RH, SC, and DJ crewed.  Hangar working bee continued on side cladding.  The ASK-21 flew locally.  Moderate blue thermals were available to  7,000 ft. Total time  48m from 1 flight.

7th April 2009 -  MBd, RT, MBn, RH, SC, BT and DJ crewed.  Hangar working bee continued on side cladding.

31st March 2009 -  MBd, MBn, OB, and MBt crewed.  Hangar working bee continued on frame construction.  The ASK-21 flew to Corryong and the IS-28 flew locally. Moderate blue thermals were available to 6,500 ft. Total time 2h 30m from 2 flights.

30th March 2009 -  MBd, MBn, PH, OB, and MBt crewed.  Hangar working bee continued on frame construction.  The IS-28 flew locally. Moderate blue thermals were available to 6,500 ft. Total time 2h 30m from 2 flights.

29th March 2009 -  MBd, MBn, OB, AE, SB, MR, MP, CC, RH, MBt, PH, SC, and AS crewed.  Hangar working bee continued on frame construction.  The IS-28, ASK-21, Pilatus and ASW-19 were flown. Moderate blue thermals were available to 6,500 ft. Total time 5h 30m from 11 flights.

18th March 2009 -  MBd, MBn, and AS crewed to fly the Ventus and ASK-21.  Total time was 4h 09m from 2 flights. Winds were light north westerlies.  Patchy lift was available from thermals up to 6,500 ft.  Hangar footings concrete poured.

17th March 2009 -  MBd, RF, KV, MBn, and AS crewed to fly the IS-28.  Total time was 3h 51m from 4 flights. Winds were light north westerlies.  Patchy good lift was available from thermals up to 5,500 ft.  Hangar footing holes trimmed up.

15th March 2009 -  MBd, AS, RT, RH, SB, RF, KV, MBn, BT,  and IC crewed to fly the IS-28, Pilatus, Cirrus, ASK-21, Ventus and LS-6.  Total time was 18h 3m from 17 flights. Winds were light to moderate north westerlies.  Patchy good lift was available from thermals and hill lift up to 7,500 ft under overcast skies. 

14th March 2009 -  MBd, MBn, RT, SB, CC and IC crewed.  No flying due rain and thunderstorms.  Hangar frames assembled.

12th March 2009 -  MBd, RH, SB, and IC crewed to fly the IS-28.  Total time was 1h 50m from 5 flights. Winds were light North westerlies.  Some lift was available from thermals up to 4,500 ft under overcast skies.  Hangar foundation work commenced.

9th March 2009 -  MBd, RT, BT, IC, and AS crewed to fly the Libelle, ASK21, Cirrus, and Ventus.  Total time was 16h 10m from 5 flights. Winds were light North westerlies.  Good lift was available from thermals up to 9,000 ft under 2 oktas Cumulus.  Libelle, Cirrus, and Ventus flew Mt Beauty- Mt Buller- Benalla- Mt Beauty.

8th March 2009 -  MBd, AE, RT, BT, KV, BH, MBn, and AS crewed to fly the IS-28, Cirrus, LS-6, ASK21, Pilatus, and Ventus.  Total time was 17h 9m from 9 flights. Winds were light North westerlies.  Good lift was available from thermals up to 10,000 ft. 

7th March 2009 -  MBd, AE, RT, MBn, RT, and AS crewed to fly the IS-28, Cirrus, ASK21, LS-6, and Ventus.  Total time was 12h 2m from 10 flights. Winds were light North westerlies.  Good lift was available from thermals up to 10,000 ft. 

6th March 2009 -  MBd flew the ASK21.  Total time was 3h 4m from 1 flight. Winds were light North westerlies.  Good lift was available from thermals up to 10,000 ft. 

28th February 2009 -  MBd, AE, RT, IC, BT, GH, BH, TH, and AS crewed to fly the IS-28, Cirrus, ASK21, Pilatus, Libelle, and Ventus.  Total time was around 15h  from 12 flights. Winds were light North westerlies.  Good lift was available from thermals up to 10,500 ft. 

27th February 2009 -  MBd, KV, and AS crewed to fly the Libelle, and Ventus.  Total time was around 8h  from 2 flights. Winds were light North westerlies.  Good lift was available from thermals up to 10,000 ft.   AS and Mbd flew from Mt Beauty to Mt Kosciusko, Mt Buller and back to Mt Beauty.

23rd February 2009 -  MBd, KV, and AS crewed to fly the IS-28.  Total time was 34m from 4 circuit flights. Winds were light North westerlies but changed to stronger south westerlies. 

22nd February 2009 -  MBd, KV, BT, SB, and AE crewed to fly the ASK-21,  IS-28 and the Pilatus.  Total time was 7h 34m from 6 flights. Winds were light North westerlies and thermals were available up to 8,000 ft. 

16th January 2009 -  MBd, and AS crewed to fly the Libelle.  Total time was around 3h 10m from 1 flight. Winds were light north westerlies. 

14th January 2009 -  MBd, ID, GV, OB, PM, and IC crewed to fly the ASK-21, Pilatus and IS-28.  Total time was around 8h 55m from 8 flights. Winds were light North westerlies.  Moderate lift was available later from thermals up to 8,000 ft.   ID and Mbd returned from Temora.

13th January 2009 -  MBd, ID, GV, OB, and IC crewed to fly the ASK-21, IS-28M2, and IS-28.  Total time was around 7h 9m from 3 flights. Winds were light North westerlies.  Moderate lift was available later from thermals up to 8,000 ft.   ID and Mbd flew from MBT to Temora.

12th January 2009 -  AS, GV, and IC crewed to fly the Ventus, and Mistral.  Total time was around 9h 20m from 2 flights. Winds were light and variable.  Moderate lift was available later from thermals up to 8,000 ft.  

11th January 2009 -  MBd, MP, RT, BT, AE, and IC crewed to fly the ASK-21, Pilatus, and IS-28.  Total time was 4h 13m from 8 flights. Winds were light and variable.  Moderate lift was available later from thermals up to 8,000 ft. 

10th January 2009 -  MBd, MP, RT, BT, and IC crewed to fly the ASK-21, Pilatus, and IS-28.  Total time was 6h 27m from 11 flights. Winds were light and variable.  Moderate lift was available later from thermals up to 8,000 ft.   IC flew MBT-Mt Bogong-Mt Hotham-Dederang Switchyard-MBT in the Pilatus.

5th January 2009 -  GV, BT, and IC crewed to fly the ASK-21.  Total time was 1h 49m from 3 flights. Winds were light and variable.  Strong lift was available from thermals up to 8,000 ft.  

4th January 2009 -  MBd, GV, BT, MR, OB, MP, AE, and IC crewed to fly the IS-28M2, ASK-21, Mistral, Pilatus, and IS-28.  Total time was 14h 19m from 13 flights.

3rd January 2009 -  MBd, GV, AP, MP, AE, GS, and IC crewed to fly the ASK-21, Pilatus, and IS-28.  Total time was 11h 15m from 14 flights. Winds were light and variable.  Blue lift was available from thermals up to 6,500 ft.  

2nd January 2009 -  MBd, GV,  AE, KV, AS, GS, MS, and IC crewed to fly the ASK-21, Pilatus, Mistral, Ventus and IS-28.  Total time was 19h 39m from 17 flights. Winds were light and variable.  Lift was available from thermal up to 8,000 ft.  

1st January 2009 -  MBd, GV, AE, KV, AS, GS, MS, and IC crewed to fly the ASK-21, Pilatus, Ventus and IS-28.  Total time was 16h 58m from 10 flights. Winds were  moderate north westerlies.  Lift was available from thermal and ridge up to 9,000 ft.  

31st December 2008 -  MBd, GV, AE, KV, AS, GS, MS, and IC crewed to fly the ASK-21, Pilatus, Mistral, Ventus and IS-28.  Total time was 13h 57m from 15 flights. Winds were  moderate north westerlies.  Lift was available from thermal and ridge up to 8,000 ft.  

29th December 2008 -  MBd, GV, SC, AE, KV, AS, GS, MS, and IC crewed to fly the ASK-21, Pilatus, Mistral, Ventus and IS-28.  Total time was 11h 54m from 9 flights. Winds were  moderate north westerlies.  Lift was available from thermal and ridge up to 8,000 ft.

28th December 2008 -  OB, MBd, CC, GV, SC, TT, AE, KV, AS, GS, MS, MR and IC crewed to fly the IS-28M2, ASK-21, Pilatus, ASW-19, Mistral, Ventus and IS-28.  Total time was 20h 31m from 17 flights. Winds were  moderate north westerlies.  Lift was available from thermal, ridge and wave up to 10,000 ft.  OB soloed and AE will claim Silver distance.

27th December 2008 -  OB, MBd, CC, CV, SC, TT, AE, DJ, AS, and IC crewed to fly the ASK-21, Pilatus and IS-28.  Total time was 5h 28m from 15 flights. Winds were variable from moderate north westerlies round to gusty south westerlies together with heavy sink.  

26th December 2008 -  MBd, GV, AS, and CC crewed to fly the ASW-19, Ventus and Mistral.  Total time was 4h 51m from 5 flights.

23rd December 2008 -  OB, MBd, RH, and IC crewed to fly the ASK-21 and IS-28.  Total time was 5h 55m from 4 flights. Winds were light north westerlies and variable thermals up to 8kt were available.  Cloudbase was variable from 7,000 ft up to 10,000 ft.  The IS-28 flew Mbt-Mt Bogong-Mt Hotham-Dederang-Mt Bogong-Mbt and the ASK-21 flew Mbt-Corryong-Mbt.

27th November 2008 -  AS, MBd, MP, AD, and KV crewed to fly the ASK-21mi, and Ventus from Leeton to Mt Beauty.  Winds were light north westerlies.  Thermals were variable up to 8,000 ft.  Overdevelopment led to showers and thunderstorms causing large diversions from the direct track.  Follow the ASK21mi flight with this igc file (change the .txt extension to .igc). 

26th November 2008 -  AS, MBd, MP, AD, and KV crewed to fly the ASK-21mi, and Ventus from Narromine to Leeton.  Winds were light northerlies.  Thermals were variable up to around 5 kt up to 8,000 ft.

24th November 2008 -  AS, MBd, MP, IC, and KV crewed to fly the ASK-21mi, and Ventus from Mt Beauty to Leeton.  Winds were light north westerlies.  Thermals were variable up to around 5 kt up to 6,000 ft. 

21st November 2008 -  AS, MBd, PM, MBt, and RH crewed to fly the IS-28, ASK-21mi, and Pilatus.  Winds were light north westerlies.  Thermals were variable up to around 5 kt up to 7,000 ft.  Total time was 4h 16m from 8 flights.

16th November 2008 -  TT, AS, MBd, MR, AE, and IC crewed to fly the Ventus, IS-28, ASK-21mi, IS-28M2 and Pilatus.  Winds were variable.  Thermals were variable up to around 8 kt up to 8,000 ft.  Total time was 12h 39m from 7 flights.

15th November 2008 -  BB, KV, TT, RT, GH, DJ, OB, AS, MBd, and IC crewed to fly the Ventus, IS-28, ASK-21mi, and Pilatus. There was a moderate northwesterly breeze blowing.  Thermals were variable to around 9 kt up to 9,000 ft.  Total time was 12h 15m from 16 flights.

12th November 2008 -  MG, SC, AS, MBd, and IC crewed to fly the Ventus, Libelle and Pilatus.  There was a light northwesterly breeze blowing with a southerly drift above 5000 ft.  Thermals were weak at low altitudes and variable up to around 6 kt above 5,000 ft.  AS and MBd flew out to Mt Kosciuszko and back while IC flew Mt Beauty-Mt Hotham-Dederang-Mt Bogong-Mt Hotham- Running Creek-Mt Beauty.  South of a line Mt Hotham to Corryong the cloud base was around 14,000 ft while north of that line the cloudbase was around 9,000 ft.  Total time was 12h 35m from 3 flights.

11th November 2008 -  AD, AS, and MBd crewed to fly the Libelle and Ventus from Leeton to Mt Beauty. Total time was 7h 22m from 3 flights.

10th November 2008 -  MP, AS, and MBd crewed to fly the Libelle and Ventus from Mt Beauty to Leeton.  Total time was 9h 27m from 3 flights.

2nd November 2008 -  RT, IC, OB, KV, GV, GH, PD, CC, AS, and MBd crewed to fly the IS-28, ASK-21mi, Pilatus, and Mistral.  Total time was 13h 57m from 21 flights.

1st November 2008 -  RH, MBt, RT, IC, OB, KV, GV, GH, PD, DJ, CC, MBn, MP, AS, and MBd crewed to fly the IS-28, ASK-21mi, Pilatus, Mistral, LS-6, Libelle and Ventus.  Total time was 18h 54m from 20 flights.

19th October 2008 -  MBn, TT, KV, GH, and IC crewed to fly the IS-28 and Pilatus.  Light winds and overcast skies limited thermal activity.  Total IS-28 flight time was 1h 3m from 7 flights.  Total time was 1h 55m from 8 flights.

13th September 2008 -  BB, MP, CC, KV, GH, IC, and MBd crewed to fly the IS-28 and ASK21.  Light to moderate north-westerly winds allowed climbs to around 3,000 ft in ridge lift.  Total IS-28 flight time was 3h 6m from 10 flights.  Total time was 4h 34m from 14 flights.

11th September 2008 -  MP, MBd, and MT crewed to fly the IS-28.  Some thermals allowed climbs to around 5,000 ft.  Total IS-28 flight time was 2h 4m from 3 flights.

7th September 2008 -  MP, CC, CD, and RT crewed to fly the IS-28.  Total IS-28 flight time was 29m from 4 flights.

26th August 2008 -  MP, IC, and MBd crewed to fly the IS-28.  Conditions were cool with some good thermals up to a variable cloud base at around 8,000 ft. allowing extensive flights around the nearby snow covered alps.  The maximum IS-28 soaring flight time was 1hr 20 min in thermal and hill lift.  Winds were north westerly at 5 to 10 kt.  Total IS-28 flight time was 3h 24m from 4 flights. Max altitude 7800 ft.

24th August
2008 -  KP, RT, IC, and MBd crewed to fly the IS-28, and ASK-21.  Conditions were cool with some very weak thermals. The maximum IS-28 soaring flight time was 21 min in weak hill lift.  Winds were light tending north westerly.  Total IS-28 flight time was 34m from 4 flights.  Max IS-28 altitude 2700 ft.

29th June
2008 -  PD, SC, RT, MR, BB, IC, MP, and MBd crewed to fly the IS-28, and ASK-21.  Conditions were cool with some very weak thermals. The maximum IS-28 soaring flight time was 18 min in weak hill lift.  Winds were light tending north westerly.  Total flight time was 4h 45m from 16 flights.

28th June
2008 -  BB, AE, MR, IC, MP, and MBd crewed to fly the IS-28, ASK-21, and Pilatus.  Conditions were cool with no thermals.  Winds were calm.  Total flight time was 2h 02m from 10 flights.
