Sunday 18th June 2006 - IC, MR and PD flew the IS-28.  Winds were calm to a light northerly drift, and a strong inversion produced no thermals.  Total glider flight time was 30m from 4 flights. Max altitude was 2,500 ft. Max flight time was 8m.

Monday 12th June 2006 - IC, MBd and MR flew the IS-28M2 and the Sapphire to Benambra and return.

Saturday 10th June 2006 - IC, MBd and GHs flew the IS-28 and the Pilatus.  Winds were calm to a light southerly drift limiting launch heights, and lack of sun produced no thermals.  Total glider flight time was 52m from 6 flights. Max altitude was 2,800 ft. Max flight time was 11m.

Saturday 3rd June 2006 - JT, MR, RB, RH, KV, PG, MBd and PD flew the IS-28 and the Pilatus.  Light winds were variable to north-westerly, and sunny conditions produced some weak thermals.  Total glider flight time was 5h 5m from 19 flights. Max altitude was 6,000 ft. Max flight time was 1h 30m. Thanks due to RB for doing most driving of the winch.

Sunday 28th May 2006 - JT, MR, RH, VM and IC flew the IS-28M2, IS-28 and the Pilatus.  Winds were variable, and sunny but stable conditions produced one weak thermal.  Total glider flight time was 1h 5m from 7 flights. Max altitude was 3,400 ft. Max flight time was 27m.

Saturday 27th May 2006 - MBd, JT, GHs, MR, RH, KV, RB, and IC flew the IS-28 and the Pilatus.  Winds were variable, and partially sunny conditions produced some weak thermals.  Total glider flight time was 4h 35m from 16 flights. Max altitude was 4,700 ft. Max flight time was 1h 24m.

Friday 26th May 2006 - MBd, JT, GHn, MR and IC flew the IS-28 and the Pilatus.  Winds were variable, and partially sunny conditions with high cirrus overcast produced some very weak thermals.  Total glider flight time was 1h 35m from 6 flights. Max altitude was 3,500 ft. Max flight time was 52m.

Saturday 20th May 2006 - MBd, KV, RH, MBt, MP and IC flew the IS-28, Pilatus and the Blanik.  Winds were variable turning south-easterly later, and partially sunny conditions produced some thermals.  Total glider flight time was 6h 24m from 12 flights. Max altitude was 6,600 ft. Mark Bland flew up to Mt Feathertop in a two hour flight.

Sunday 14th May 2006 - MBd, KV, GH, RB, MBn, MP, and IC flew the IS-28 and Blanik.  Winds were calm and no thermals were available due to heavy overcast.  Total glider flight time was 1h 13m from 11 flights. Max altitude was 2,500 ft. 

Saturday 13th May 2006 - MBd, KV, GH, MBn and IC flew the IS-28 and the Blanik.  Winds were calm and sunny conditions produced a couple of weak thermals.  Total glider flight time was 2h 01m from 11 flights. Max altitude was 2,700 ft. 

Saturday 6th May 2006 - MBd, AB, MP, and IC flew the Pilatus.  Winds were calm and no thermals were available due to heavy overcast.  Total glider flight time was 56m from 6 flights. Max altitude was 2,700 ft. 

Saturday 29th April 2006 - MBd, PGn, MP, and RB flew the IS-28 and the Pilatus.  Winds were calm and no thermals were available.  Total glider flight time was 52m from 7 flights. Max altitude was 2,700 ft. 

Monday 24th April 2006 - MBd, MS, RH, IC, MBn, MR, and KV, flew the IS-28, Libelle, and LS4 using winch launch.  Winds were calm and weak thermals were available.  Total glider flight time was 9h 44m from 14 flights. Max altitude was 6,500 ft. Mark and Michael flew out to near Mt Kosciusko and return, phenomenal flights given the weak conditions.

Sunday 23rd April 2006 -
GHs, MBd, MS, RH, IC, MBn, MR, KV, Tim and Sacha flew the IS-28, Libelle, LS4 and Blanik using winch launch.  Winds were calm to a southerly drift and thermals from burning-off fires were available.  Total glider flight time was 9h 39m from 14 flights. Max altitude was 4,800 ft by MBd. 

Saturday 22nd April 2006 -
GHs, MBd, MS, PD, IC, MP, MR, and KV flew the IS-28, Libelle, Pilatus, and Blanik using winch launch.  A light to moderate northerly wind enabled ridge soaring on Big Hill and thermals were available.  Total glider flight time was 13h 00m from 9 flights. Max altitude was 6,500 ft by KV and MR.  Michael and Mark flew around Mt Buffalo.  Thanks to Mart for the launches.

Thursday 20th April 2006 -
 ID, MBd, and KV flew the IS-28 and Blanik using winch launch.  A moderate northerly wind enabled good ridge soaring on Big Hill and Mt Bogong and thermals were available.  Total glider flight time was 9h 51m from 5 flights.  Soaring heights by VMFG visitors Alan and Roger were 11,000 ft (in wave conditions in the lee of Mt Buffalo near Bright) and Neil reached 13,000 ft near Tawonga.

Wednesday 19th April 2006 -
 PM, MR, RH, KV and IC flew the IS-28 and Pilatus using winch and aerotow launch.  A moderate northerly wind enabled good ridge soaring on Big Hill and Mt Bogong.  Total glider flight time was 4h 14m from 3 flights.  Max soaring height was 7,500 ft.

Tuesday 18th April 2006 -
 PGl and IC  flew the IS-28 using aerotow launch.  A brisk northerly wind enabled good ridge soaring on Little Mt Bogong.  Total glider flight time was 1h 41m from 1 flight.  Max soaring height was  6,000 ft limited by cloud base.

Monday 17th April 2006 -  We flew the IS-28, Blanik, Libelle and Pilatus and launched several visiting gliders. Light winds and stable conditions with weak thermals made for difficult soaring conditions.  Total glider flight time was 8h 10m from 30 flights.  Max soaring height was  6,000 ft.

Sunday 16th April 2006 -  We flew the IS-28, Blanik, Libelle and Pilatus and launched several visiting gliders. Light winds and stable conditions with weak thermals made for difficult soaring conditions.  Total glider flight time was 8h 56m from 25 flights.  Max soaring height was  6,000 ft.

Saturday 15th April 2006 -  We flew the IS-28, Blanik, Libelle and Pilatus and launched several visiting gliders. Unstable air with rain squalls enabled some good soaring flights.  Total glider flight time was 8h 16m from 12 flights.  Max soaring height was  6,000 ft.

Thursday 13th April 2006 - MBd, GM, and MP rigged and flew the Blanik late in the day. MBd and GM used a late thermal to soar for 40 min.  Total glider flight time was 54m from 3 flights.  Max soaring height was  3,500 ft.

Tuesday 11th April 2006 -
AS, VS, and IC flew the IS-28, and the Pilatus. Weak infrequent thermals and ridge lift were available. Total glider flight time was 6h 12m from 2 flights.  Max soaring height was  7,500 ft. Manfred drove the winch for the IS28 launch.  Thanks Manfred.

Sunday 9th April 2006 - GHs, GHn, ID, DC, MBn, MP, MBd, MR, IC flew the IS-28, and the Pilatus. Weak infrequent thermals were available. Total glider flight time was 5h 31m from 10 flights.  Max soaring height was  6,400 ft.

Saturday 8th April 2006 - MP, MBd, MR, IC flew the IS-28, and the Pilatus. Good thermal soaring was available. Total glider flight time was 3h 23m from 4 flights.  Max soaring height was about 6,500 ft.

Sunday 2nd April 2006 - Corryong and return to Mt Beauty. GH, MP, KV, MBd, PGn, RH, MR, MBt, and IC flew the IS-28, Blanik, IS-28M2 motor glider and the Super Cub. Good thermal soaring was available. Total glider flight time was 7h 32m from 12 flights.  Max soaring height was about 7,000 ft.

Saturday 1st April 2006 -
Corryong.
GH, MP, KV, MBd, PGn, RH, and IC flew the IS-28, Blanik, and the Super Cub.  Strong crosswinds limited winch launching until late in the day. After early low cloud the cloudbase rose to about 7,000 ft.  Then good thermal soaring was available. Total glider flight time was 8h 50m from 7 flights.  Max height was about 7,000 ft.

Friday 31st March -
Club visit to Corryong coinciding with the Man From Snowy River Festival.
GH, MP, KV, MBd, PGn, RH, and IC flew the IS-28, Blanik, and the Super Cub.  After early low cloud the cloudbase rose to about 6,000 ft allowing the IS-28 and Super Cub to be ferried to Corryong.  Then good thermal soaring was available at Corryong. Total glider flight time was 5h 27m from 8 flights.  Max height was 6,500 ft.
