Ridge lift, rotor, wave and thermal lift.  Strong turbulence below 5,000 ft but very smooth in wave above 7,000 ft.  Max Altitude 10,000 ft.  Total OLC points 152.

Monday 19th November -  TK and MBd crewed to fly the ASK-21mi.  There were moderate SE breezes and thermals with moderate lift at low heights and up to 10 kt near cloudbase.  Max altitude 6,300 ft.  Three flights for 11:00.   Total OLC points 202. 

Sunday 18th November -  POb, BOd, RS, MBn, and MBd  crewed to fly the Astir, and ASK-21.  There were NW breezes changing to SE later with rain and thunderstorms, and thermals with moderate lift at low heights and up to 10 kt near cloudbase.  Max altitude 6,750 ft.  Three flights for 1:53.  Total OLC points 83. 

Saturday 17th November -  IC, BT, ID, TK, POb, SB, MBn, RS and MBd  crewed to fly the Astir, ASK-21, ASW-19, ASK-21mi and Pilatus.  There were light NW breezes, and thermals with moderate lift at low heights and up to 10 kt near the cloudbase which varied from 7,500 ft to 9,000 ft.  Max altitude 7,700 ft.  Fourteen flights for 16:31.   Total OLC points 842. 

Friday 16th November -  IC, PDo, RS, AE and MBd crewed to fly the Astir, ASK-21, ASW-19 and ASK-21mi.  There were light NW breezes, swinging to the SE later, and thermals with moderate lift at low heights and up to 10 kt near cloudbase.  Max altitude 9,500 ft.  Seven flights for 11:00.   Total OLC points 910.  PDo soloed again.

Sunday 11th November -  IC, POb, BOd, PD, MP, DR, SB, MBn, PD, HM and MBd  crewed to fly the Astir, ASK-21, LS-6, LS-3 and ASK-21mi.  There were light NW breezes, and thermals with moderate lift at low heights and up to 8 kt near cloudbase.  Max altitude 8,100 ft.  Sixteen flights for 18:26.   Total OLC points 1595. 

Saturday 10th November -  IC, LS, SA, ID, TK, DR, SB, MBn, HM and MBd  crewed to fly the Astir, ASK-21, DG-400, LS-6, LS-3, ASK-21mi and Pilatus.  There were light NW breezes, and thermals with moderate lift at low heights and up to 10 kt near the cloudbase which varied from 7,500 ft to 9,000 ft.  Max altitude 9,000 ft.  Thirteen flights for 31:18.   Total OLC points 2088.  MBd and TK did the first flight in our new ASK-21, VH-GVA.

IC, SA, PDo, MP, AE, RB, KD and MBd crewed to fly the LS-3, Pilatus, Libelle and ASK-21mi.  There were moderate northwesterly winds tapering off later.  Sunny conditions with 1 octa cumulus, some ridge lift and weak thermals with lift up to 5 kt.  Max altitude 7,800 ft.  Thirteen flights for 8:09.

Sunday 14th October - IC, BT, SB, LS, BOd, POb, AE and MBd crewed to fly the LS-6, Pilatus, Libelle,. Astir and ASK-21mi.  There were light northwesterly winds turning southwesterly at height with 1 octas cumulus.  There was weak ridge lift and  moderate thermals with lift up to 7 kt.  Max altitude 7.000 ft.  Eleven flights for 16:53.  OLC points 788. 

Saturday 13th October -
IC, BT, MBn and MBD crewed to fly the LS-6, Astir and ASK-21mi.  There were light southwesterly winds with 3 octas cumulus tending to overdevelop later with rain showers.  There was weak ridge lift and  moderate thermals with lift up to 7 kt.  Max altitude 6.900 ft.  Three flights for 7:29.  OLC points 620. 

Tuesday 9th October - IC, AE, and MBd crewed to fly the Pilatus, Astir and ASK-21mi.  There were light west to northwesterly breezes, sunny conditions with 3 octas cumulus and some overdevelopment, weak ridge lift and weak to moderate thermals with lift up to 5 kt.  Max altitude 7.200 ft.  Three flights for 9:44.  OLC points 880. 
This was the start of the OLC year and for a few hours MBGC was the leading club in the world with help from CC flying out of Kingaroy in Qld.    MBGC finished second in the world.

Friday 14th September - AE and MBd crewed to fly the ASK-21mi and Pilatus.  Four flights for 1:09.

Tuesday 11th September - IC, SC, MD, POb, DA and MBd crewed to fly the Twin Astir, Astir and ASK-21mi for members of Montmorency Probus Club.  There were light northwesterly breezes, and weak thermals with lift up to 3 kt.  Max altitude 6,000 ft with 0-1 Octa cumulus along the ridge lines at around 7,000 ft.  Twenty flights for 5:05. Tuesday 4th September - IC, SB and MBd crewed to fly the Pilatus, DG-400 and ASK-21mi.  There were northwesterly breezes, weak ridge lift and moderate thermals with lift up to 7 kt.  Max altitude 7,400 ft with 0-1 Octa cumulus. Three flights for 8:54.  OLC points 499.  IC won the day with 203 points.

Sunday 2nd September - AE, IC, SA, SB, BA, DR, BOd, ID, KD, BT and MBd crewed to fly the Pilatus, Astir, Twin Astir, LS-3, ASW-19 and ASK-21mi.  There were northwesterly breezes, weak ridge lift and weak thermals.  Max altitude 6,200 ft. Nineteen flights for 13:48.  OLC points 294.  BT won the day with 76 points.

Saturday 1st September - BT, LS, RL, SB, IC, DR and MBd crewed to fly the Twin Astir, Pilatus, LS-3, Astir, and ASK-21mi.  There were northerly breezes, weak ridge lift and weak thermals.  Max altitude 4,400 ft. 
Twenty flights for 4:48.  OLC points 26.

Sunday 26th August - AE, IC, LS, RL, and MBd crewed to fly the Pilatus, Astir, and ASK-21mi.  There were northerly breezes, weak ridge lift and weak thermals.  Max altitude 5,500 ft.  Five flights for 5:30.  OLC points 169.

Saturday 25th August - BT, LS and MBd crewed to fly the Astir, and ASK-21mi.  There were northerly breezes, weak ridge lift and weak thermals.  Max altitude 3,400 ft.  Two flights for 1:01.  OLC points 26.

Sunday 19th August - AE, DA, MP, BT, SA, BOd, BT, LS, BA, RL, and MBd crewed to fly the LS-3, Twin Astir, Pilatus, Astir, and ASW-19.  There were northerly breezes, weak wave and ridge lift and weak thermals.  Max altitude 3,100 ft.  Seventeen flights for 9:33.  OLC points 82.

Saturday 18th August - MBd crewed to fly the ASK-21mi.  There were southerly breezes and weak wave and ridge lift.  Max altitude 4,100 ft.  One flight for 1:28. OLC points 76.

Sunday 12th August - AE, MP, BT, SA, BOd, BT, LS, BA, RL, and MBd crewed to fly the LS-3, Twin Astir, Pilatus, ASW-19, Astir, and ASK-21mi.  There were light southerly breezes and weak thermals.  Max altitude 6,700 ft.  Eighteen flights for 8:41.  OLC points 113.

Saturday 11th August - DA and MBd crewed to fly the ASF-21mi, and Astir.  There were southerly breezes with weak wave, ridge lift and weak thermals.  Max altitude 4,000 ft. Four flights for 2:30.  OLC points 95.

Sunday 5th August - AE, BOd, BT and MBd crewed to fly the LS-3, Astir, and ASW-19.  There were north westerly breezes ridge lift and weak thermals.  Max altitude 3,700 ft. Six flights for 2:37.  OLC points 89.

Saturday 4th August - IC, LS, MBd, BT and MP crewed to fly the ASF-21mi, and Pilatus.  There were north westerly breezes with ridge lift and weak thermals.  Max altitude 4,500 ft. Six flights for 3:34.  OLC points 61.

Sunday 29th July - GF, RL, AE, MBd, SB, BOd, BT and MP crewed to fly the ASF-21mi, Astir, Pilatus and ASW-19.  There were westerly breezes low level wave, ridge lift and weak thermals.  Max altitude 4,900 ft. Fifteen flights for 11:18.  OLC points 202.

Wednesday 25th July - IC, GF, RL, ID, LS, TK, DR, KD, and MP crewed to fly the IS-28B2.  There were light north westerly breezes and very weak thermals.  Max altitude 2,300 ft. Ten flights for 1:49.  OLC points 31.

Tuesday 24th July - IC, DA, RM, SB, TK, DA, and MBd crewed to fly the IS-28B2.  There were light north westerly breezes.  Fifteen flights for 3:16.  OLC points 87.

Sunday 22nd July - IC, MBd, RL, SB, LS, AE, POb, BA, KD, SA and BOd crewed to fly the Pilatus, ASW-19, IS-28B2, ASK-21mi and Astir.  There were light and variable breezes and very weak thermals.  Max altitude 3,200 ft. Twenty nine flights for 6:13.  OLC points 24.

Saturday 21st July - IC, MBd, RL, SB, LS, BT, BA, KF, ID, RT, MT, KD and MP crewed to fly the IS-28B2, Pilatus, ASK-21mi and Astir.  There were light and variable breezes and very weak thermals.  Max altitude 4,600 ft.  Forty two flights for 6:27 with first flight take-off at 7:05.  OLC points 90. The Social Auxilliary SK, KV, SBd, SC and TK provided for an after flying BBQ.  Visitors DT, DR and SMc.

Friday 20th July - IC, MBd, and PH crewed to replace worn winch cable lengths. 

Sunday 15th July - IC, MBd, RL, SB, LS, and MP crewed to fly the Pilatus, ASK-21mi and Astir.  There was light to moderate northwesterly breezes under a complete overcast with variable cloud base up to 4,500 ft with drizzle later.  There was weak ridge lift and very weak thermals.  Max altitude 4,100 ft. Nine flights for 5:45.  OLC points 112.

Sunday 8th July - BA, MBd, BT, AE, ID, LS, BOd and SB crewed to fly the IS-28, ASK-21mi and Astir.  Fifteen flights.  Flight time 5:04.  OLC points 137.
 
Saturday 7th July -
TK, MBd, BT, KV and SB crewed to fly the IS-28.  Seven flights. Flight time 1:18.  
 
Monday 2nd July -
SB flew at Porepunkah in the DG-400.  Flight time 1:25.  OLC points 25.
 
30 June - 1 July
-  No flying at Mt Beauty due to low cloud and rain.  Mt Beauty pilots visited Bendigo Gliding Club for their annual bonfire weekend at Raywood.
