Saturday 31st December  - RD, RH, MBt and IC flew the IS-28.  Conditions were very hot and sunny with hardly any breeze.  After 14:30 weak to moderate thermal lift was available.  Total flight time was 2h 27m from 7 flights with a maximum flight time of 54m by RD and IC.  Max height was around 8,000 ft. 

Friday 30th December  - DR, PGn and IC flew the IS-28.  Conditions were very hot and sunny with hardly any breeze.  After 13:30 weak thermal lift was available.  Total flight time was 2h 44m from 10 flights with a maximum flight time of 37m by IC.  Max height was around 4,000 ft. MR also flew his IS-28M2.  Mark Bland flew the syndicate Blanik VH-GYJ from Leeton to Mt Beauty (258km) in an epic 4hr 30 Min flight reaching 9,000 ft enroute arriving at Mt Beauty at 18:30.

Thursday
 29th December  - RH, DF, MBn, PGn and IC flew the IS-28.  Conditions were sunny with a 5 Kt north-westerly breeze.  After 14:00 thermal lift was available.  Total flight time was 5h 42m from 5 flights with a maximum flight time of 3Hr 53m by MBn.  Max height was around 8,000 ft. 

Wednesday
 28th December  - DF and IC flew the IS-28.  Conditions were sunny with a 5 Kt north-westerly breeze.  Good thermal lift was available.  Total flight time was 2h 30m from 4 flights with a maximum flight time of 1Hr 5m by DF.  Max height was around 6,500 ft.  Thanks to MBn for driving the winch.

Tuesday
 27th December  - RH, MBn, AE and IC flew the IS-28.  Conditions were sunny with a 5 Kt north-westerly breeze.  Sporadic thermal and hill lift was available.  Total flight time was 3h 17m from 9 flights with a maximum flight time of 1Hr 14m by MBn.  Max height was around 6,500 ft. 

Tuesday
 20th December  - RH, and IC flew the IS-28.  Conditions were sunny with a 5 Kt north-westerly breeze with some heavy sink in the airport area.  Away from the airport thermal and hill lift was available.  Total flight time was 2h 7m from 6 flights with a maximum flight time of 1Hr 27m by IC.  Max height was around 6,500 ft. 

Saturday
 17th December  - MBm, MBd, MP, PGn and IC flew the IS-28.  Conditions were generally overcast with a 5 Kt north-westerly breeze,  and approaching thunderstorms led to an early cessation of flying.  Weak thermal and hill lift was available.  Total flight time was 1h 3m from 7 flights with a maximum flight time of 16m by MP.  Max height was around 2,900 ft. 

Friday
 16th December  - MBd flew the IS-28.  Conditions were overcast and windless.  No lift was available.  Total flight time was 5m from 1 flight.  Max height was around 2,200 ft. 

Thursday
 15th December  - MBm flew the IS-28.  Conditions were partially sunny with a high cirrus overcast and a 5 Kt north-westerly breeze.  Weak thermal and hill lift was available but thermals were infrequent and started late.  Total flight time was 1h 37m from 2 flights.  Max height was around 4,000 ft. 

Sunday 11th December  - MBm and IC flew the IS-28.  Conditions were sunny with a 0 to 5 Kt north-westerly breeze.  Thermal lift of around 300 ft per minute was available but thermals were infrequent and started late.  Total flight time was 1h 44m from 5 flights with a maximum flight time of 1h 19m by IC.  Max height was around 4,800 ft.

Saturday 10th December  - MBm, IC, and MR flew the IS-28.  Conditions were sunny with a 5 to 10 Kt north-westerly breeze.  Thermals and hill lift were available.  Total flight time was 3h 58m from 8 flights with a maximum flight time of 1h 10m by MBm.  Max height was around 7,800 ft. 

Friday 9th December  - MBm, and MR flew the IS-28.  Conditions were sunny to overcast with a 5 to 10 Kt north-westerly breeze.  Thermals and hill lift were available.  Total flight time was 2h 9m from 2 flights with a maximum flight time of 1h 31m by MBm.  Max height was around 6,500 ft. 

Thursday 8th December  - MBm, MBe, RH, and IC flew the IS-28.  Conditions were sunny to overcast with a 5 to 10 Kt north-westerly breeze.  Thermals and hill lift were available.  Total flight time was 2h 6m from 2 flights with a maximum flight time of 1h 6m by MBm.  Max height was around 6,500 ft.  Winch cable replaced.

Sunday 4th December  - MBm, MBe, and IC flew the IS-28.  Conditions were sunny to overcast with a 5 to 10 Kt north-westerly breeze.  Thermals and hill lift were available.  Total flight time was 2h 4m from 2 flights with a maximum flight time of 1h 8m by MBe.  Max height was around 5,500 ft. 

Wednesday 23rd November  - MBd and IC flew the Libelle and the Blanik from Lockhart to Narromine (363 Km) in 4.9 hr and 5.7 hr respectively.  Conditions were generally sunny with a 5 to 10 Kt north-westerly breeze and 3 octas cumulus over developing to a complete overcast later in the day.  Thermals to 8kt were available.  Max height was around 10,000 ft. 

Saturday
 19th November
  - MR and IC flew the IS-28.  Conditions were generally sunny with a 5 to 10 Kt north-westerly breeze and 3 octas cumulus.  Thermals to 6kt were available. Total flight time was 2h 39m from 2 flights with a maximum flight time of 1h 20m by IC.  Max height was around 7500 ft. 

Sunday 13th November  - MP, PGn, KV, RH, and IC fly the IS-28.  Conditions were generally sunny with 3 octas cumulus and a 5 Kt north-westerly breeze.  Sporadic thermals to 5kt and hill lift kept the gliders up. Total flight time was 3h 47m from 9 flights with a maximum flight time of 1h 5m by KV.  Max height was 7700 ft. 

Saturday
 12th November
  - MBd, PO, GM and IC fly the IS-28.  Conditions were generally sunny with a 5 to 10 Kt north-westerly breeze and 5 octas cumulus.  Thermals to 5kt and hill lift kept the gliders up. Total flight time was 4h 23m from 5 flights with a maximum flight time of 1h 34m by PO.  Max height was around 6500 ft. 

Sunday 6th November  - MR launched AB in the LS-1 and AB flew locally. Details not yet available. 

Saturday 5th November  - MP, AB, AE, MBd and KV fly the IS-28 and Blanik.  Conditions were generally sunny with a 5 Kt north-westerly breeze.  Thermals were sparse. Total flight time was 2h 24m from 14 flights with a maximum flight time of 30m by MP.  Max height was 3000 ft. 

Tuesday
 1st November
  - MP and IC fly the IS-28.  Conditions were generally sunny with a 5 Kt north-westerly breeze.  Thermals to 6kt and hill lift kept the gliders up.
Total flight time was 1h 24m from 2 flights with a maximum flight time of 51m by MP.  Max height was around 6500 ft.  AB also flew his LS-1 from Khancoban to Mt Beauty and then soared locally at Mt Beauty until his crew arrived.

Friday
 28th October
  - AB, MBd, MP and IC fly the LS-1, Blanik and IS-28.  Conditions were generally sunny with a 5 - 10 Kt north-westerly breeze.  Thermals to 6kt and hill lift kept the gliders up.
Total flight time was 8h 28m from 7 flights with a maximum flight time of 2h 40m by AB.  Max height was around 7500 ft. 

Thursday
 27th October
  - AB flies his newly acquired LS-1 standard class glider from Benalla to Mt Beauty in a little over 1 hr.

Sunday 23rd October  - MR, IC, RH and MBt flew the IS-28.   Conditions were overcast with the wind going from light to moderate in the middle of the day to calm later enabling only circuitsRain forced an early cessation of operations.  Total flight time was 36m from 5 flights with a maximum flight time of 9m. 

Saturday 22nd October  - GM, IC, MBd and MP took the old retrieve bomb to the tip with the help of Dave and Peter.   Rain prevented flying operations.

Sunday
 16th October  - MR, IC, KD and KV flew the IS-28.   Conditions were overcast with the wind going from calm in the middle of the day to a 5-10 NW breeze later enabling hill lift conditions.  Total flight time was 1h 44m from 10 flights with a maximum flight time of 31m.  Max altitude was around 2700 ft. 

Saturday 15th October  - MR, IC and KV flew the IS-28.   Conditions were sunny with a 5-10 Kt NW breeze enabling hill lift conditions.  Total flight time was 1h 58m from 8 flights with a maximum flight time of 30m.  Max altitude was around 2700 ft. 
The MBGC winch was used for the first time this soaring season.

Monday 3rd October  - MR, IC and MBd flew the IS-28 and Blanik using the syndicate winch. Launches were to between 1200ft and 1400ft above ground.  Conditions were sunny with a 10-15 Kt NW breeze enabling hill lift, thermal and wave conditions.  Total flight time was 5h 26m from 4 flights with a maximum flight time of 2h 10m by IC.  Max altitude was around 9100 ft. 

Sunday 25th September
  - AB, KV, MR, IC and MBd flew the IS-28 and Blanik using the syndicate winch on a shortened winch path. Launches were to between 1200ft and 1400ft above ground.  Conditions were again cloudy with a 5-10 Kt NW breeze enabling weak lift or reduced sink on the hill.  Total flight time was 1h 39m from 5 flights with a maximum flight time of 35 m by AB.  Max altitude was around 2500 ft. 

Saturday 24th September 
- MBd, PD, AB, MR, and IC finished the Form 2 annual maintenance on our IS-28 and with the help of Dick Thesingh and Graeme Meakin put the wings on the fuselage. Thanks Graeme and Dick.  Manfred finished off the maintenance and test flew the IS-28. IC, MBd and PD flew the Blanik using the syndicate winch on a shortened winch path.  The weather was cloudy with sunny patches and with a steady northwesterly breeze.  Hill lift, weak thermals and mystery lift (probably wave) enabled a total flight time of 3h 22m from 3 flights with a maximum flight time of 1h 21m. Max altitude was 3250 ft.

Sunday 11th September  -
IC and MBd flew the Blanik using the syndicate winch on a shortened winch path. Total flight time was 24m from 2 flights with a maximum flight time of 16 m. 

Sunday 28th August -
Richard, KD, IC, AE, HE, and MP flew the Blanik using the syndicate winch on a shortened winch path.  The weather was bright and sunny with a slight northwesterly breeze.  Total flight time was 1h 18m from 11 flights with a maximum flight time of 10 m. 

Sunday 14th August -
IC and MBd flew the Blanik using the syndicate winch on a shortened winch path.  The weather was generally overcast with no wind.  Total flight time was 18m from 3 flights with a maximum flight time of 7 m. 

Saturday 13th August -
AB, IC, MBd, and MP rigged the Blanik and flew it using the syndicate winch on a shortened winch path.  The weather was generally overcast with a light northwesterly breeze allowing some hill lift on Mt Beauty.  Total flight time was 1h 12m from 7 flights with a maximum flight time of 12 m.

Saturday 23rd July -
MR, IC, MBd, and MP worked on the IS-28 trailer,  moved the winch in to the hangar, and worked on the annual maintenance of the IS-28.

Sunday 17th July -
RH, MR, IC, MBd, and MP disassembled the IS-28 ready for its annual maintenance program.

Saturday 25th June - IC, MBd, and MP flew the IS-28.  There were fine sunny conditions with unlimited visibility and hardly any wind. Total flight time was 48m in 5 flights. Max flight time was 20m by IC using the only weak thermal of the day.
 

Saturday 18th June - IC, MBd, and MP flew the IS-28.  Cloud base was about 2500 ft.  There was hardly any wind, and a heavy overcast. With only circuits available, total flight time was 33m in 5 flights.

Monday 13th June -
IC, MBd, PD, MS and RH flew the IS-28.  Cloud base was about 5000 ft.  There were light winds rising 10Kt NW, sunny periods and a sometimes heavy overcast with thermal and ridge lift later in the day. Total flight time was 2h 38m in 11 flights.  Max flight time was 47m by Michelle and Mark.  Greatest altitude was 4500ft.  

Sunday 12th June - IC, MBd, MS and MP flew the IS-28. There was an early low cloud base commencing at 2300 ft. and eventually rising to about 4000 ft. Otherwise there were light winds, sunny periods and a sometimes heavy overcast. Total flight time was 2h 11m in 9 flights. Max flight time was 40m by MS.  Greatest altitude was 3000ft.

IC, MR, MBd, KV and RH flew the IS-28. There were light winds, sunny periods and a sometimes heavy overcast. Total flight time was 1h 30m in 12 flights. Max flight time was 13m by KV and MR.  Greatest altitude was 2700ft.  

Friday 3rd June -
AB, MR, MBd, IC and RH flew the IS-28. There were light winds, sunny periods and weak thermals and hill lift. Total flight time was 1h 6m in 5 flights. Max flight time was 27m by IC.  Greatest altitude was 2800ft.

MR, and RH  flew the IS-28. Total flight time was 32m in 4 flights. Max flight time was 11 min by MR.

Saturday 14th May -
MR, MBd, and KV  flew the IS-28. Only circuits were possible. Total flight time was 36m in 6 flights. 

Sunday 8th May -
MR, MBd, and MP  flew the IS-28. Only circuits were possible. Total flight time was 13m in 3 flights. 

Sunday 24th April -
IC, MR, MBd, MP, KD, KV and PO flew the IS-28 and Blanik. There were light winds, sometimes heavy overcast and cloud base was about 6500ft. Total flight time was 3h 12m in 17 flights. Max flight time was 58m by MBd.  Greatest altitude was 5000ft. PO soloed again after a break of 36 years.  Congratulations Phil. After flying, the Blanik was packed away in its trailer. John was welcomed as a new Social member.  Missing winch cable strop found and returned by Mark Ghirardello. Thanks Mark.

Saturday 23rd April -
After further work on the MBGC winch, MBd, MP, PG, KV and PO flew the IS-28 and Blanik. There were light winds, sometimes heavy overcast and cloud base was about 6500ft. Total flight time was 3h 02m in 10 flights. Max flight time was 1h 13m by PG.  Greatest altitude was 6000ft. The MBGC winch engine was run for the first time since the engine problem that occurred at Easter.

Sunday 17th April -
MBd, MR, JD, IC and MBn flew the IS-28 and Blanik. There were light winds, 4/8 cumulus cloud cover and weak thermals and cloud base was about 6500ft. Total flight time was 2h 45m in 6 flights. Max flight time was 1h 8m by IC.  Greatest altitude was 5200ft. 

Saturday 16th April -
After further work on the winch, MBd, MP, PG and MBn flew the IS-28 and Blanik. There were light winds and cloud base was about 6000ft. Total flight time was 2h 25m in 7 flights. Max flight time was 1h 15m by MP.  Greatest altitude was 5000ft. MR flew his IS-28 motorglider after maintenance was completed.

Friday 15th April -
After working on winch maintenance, and a late start to flying, MBd, MP, and IC flew the IS-28 and Blanik. There were light easterly to northeasterly breezes and cloud base was about 6000ft. Total flight time was 1h 48m in 4 flights. Max flight time was 45m by MP.  Greatest altitude was 4200ft.

Sunday 10th April -
MBd, MP, and MR flew the IS-28 and Blanik using the winch syndicate's winch.  Total flight time was 2h 1m in 5 flights. Max flight time was 33m by MR.  Greatest altitude was 3200ft. 

Saturday 9th April -
After working on the winch repair until mid afternoon, MBd, MP, PO, and MBn flew the IS-28 and Blanik using the winch syndicate's winch.  Total flight time was 59m in 6 flights. Max flight time was 16m by MP.  Greatest altitude was 2400ft. 

Saturday 2nd April -
AE, KV, IC, PO, and MR flew the IS-28 using aerotow and the winch syndicate's winch.  Dense smoke cleared early in the afternoon when a northwesterly breeze sprang up.  Ridge lift and some thermal activity allowed extended flights early in the afternoon but the wind faded and a high overcast limited flight times later in the day. Total flight time was 3h 36m in 9 flights. Max flight time was 1h 32m by KV and IC.  Greatest altitude was 4200ft. 

Friday 1st April -
MBd, RH, and MP flew the Libelle, Cirrus and IS-28 using aerotow and the winch syndicate's winch.  IC drove the winch syndicate's winch.  Burning off operations produced lots of smoke and limited visibility and thermal activity. Total flight time was 2h 13m in 4 flights. Max flight time was 1h 16m by MBd.  Greatest altitude was 5000ft. 

Thursday 31st March -
MBd, IC, and MP flew the Libelle, Phoebus, Cirrus and Blanik using aerotow and the winch syndicate's winch.  MBd and MP drove the winch syndicate's winch.  Burning off operations produced lots of smoke and limited visibility. Total flight time was 7h 39m in 4 flights. Max flight time was 3h 48m by MBd.  Greatest altitude was 7300ft. 

Wednesday 30th March -
AB, TR, and MP flew the Libelle, and Blanik using aerotow.  MBd and MR worked on upgrading the winch syndicate's  winch.  Total flight time was 3h 19m in 2 flights. Max flight time was 1h 51m by AB.  Greatest altitude was 7000ft.

Tuesday 29th March -
IC, AB, MP, and RH flew the IS-28, Libelle and Phoebus.  Heavy overcast limited thermals and ridge lift kept everyone airborne.  MBd did the launches using the  winch syndicate's  winch.  Total flight time was 6h 49m in 6 flights. Max flight time was 2h 15m by MP.  Greatest altitude was 4000ft. 

Monday 28th March -
MBn, KD, IC, MR, MP, MBd, AE, KV, PG, PD, RH, and AB flew the IS-28, Libelle and Blanik.  The  winch syndicate brought out their winch and did 10 launches.  Total flight time was 10h 28m in 21 flights. Max flight time was 1h 33m by MBd.  Greatest altitude was 7000ft.  HE joined as a Social Member.

Sunday 27th March -
MBn, KD, IC, MR, MP, MBd, AE, KV, and TR flew the IS-28 and Blanik.  We were beset by winch mechanical problems and all launches were by aerotow.  Total flight time was 8h 10m in 14 flights. Max flight time was 41m by KD and MP.  Greatest altitude was 6000ft.

Saturday 26th March -
MBn, KD, IC, MR, MP, MBd, AE, AB, KV, and PO flew the IS-28, Libelle, Phoebus, and Blanik.  Total flight time was 18h 29m in 26 flights. Max flight time was 4h 7m by AB.  Greatest altitude was 7700ft.

Friday 25th March - MBn, KD, IC, MR, MP, MBd, AB, KV, and PGn flew the IS-28, and Libelle.  A strong south easterly wind blew up after 6 winch launches were completed, stopping operations.  MBd got away and soared to over 10,000 ft in thermal and  wave conditions.  Total flight time was 3h 53m in 6 flights. Max flight time was 3h 6m by MBd.  Greatest altitude was 12500ft.

Thursday 24th March - MBn, KD, IC, and MBd flew the IS-28, and Blanik.  Total flight time was 5h 17m in 3 flights. Max flight time was 1h 50m by MBn.  Greatest altitude was 7000ft.

Sunday 20th March - MBn, KD, PO, IC, MP, MBd and KV flew the IS-28, Phoebus and Blanik.  Total flight time was 7h 3m in 22 flights. Max flight time was 2h 56m by IC.  Greatest altitude was 6500ft.

Saturday 19th March - MBn, KD, IC, MR, GM, KV, and HS flew the IS-28 and Blanik.  Total flight time was 2h 46m in 9 flights. Max flight time was 1h 4m by MR and HS.  Greatest altitude was 6500ft.
